What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. The Bible, being fully inspired by God in its entirety, is His perfect Word and is the authority for all faith and life.

God, the one and only true living God. God is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. The Holy, Righteous, Creator and Ruler of Heaven and Earth who made Man in His own image. In perfect love God gave his only Son Jesus for the Salvation of Man.

Jesus Christ is God the Son, the promised Messiah. God's only begotten Son, born of a virgin, fully God and fully Man, and the one and only Savior, mediator between God and Man. Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the Cross and rose again for the Forgiveness of Sin and Eternal Life.

 The Holy Spirit convicts men of sin, causes spiritual birth, indwells, seals, sanctifies, guides, equips, teaches, and fills the believer, thus enabling him to walk in obedience to God and His Word. 

There is one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All three being fully divine, equal and consubstantial are in perfect unity.

Salvation is the free gift of God through Christ Jesus our Lord. Jesus Christ willingly bled and died on the Cross as payment for our Sins and was raised from the dead three days later. Salvation and Forgiveness of Sins is based solely upon man's repentance of Sin and personal faith and belief in Jesus Christ. 

We believe that Baptism is a public declaration of the believer’s salvation in Christ, identifying with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection symbolized by immersion in water. Water baptism is an outward sign of what the Holy Spirit has performed in the heart of the believer.

Instituted by Jesus, the Lord's Supper is the united commemoration by believers of Christ's death. By breaking bread and drinking of the cup we remember that His body was broken for us and His blood was shed for the forgiveness of Sins.

We believe that upon placing one’s faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, the believer is made part of the Body of Christ, the One Church, of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The Scriptures command believers to gather locally in order to devote themselves to worship, prayer, teaching of the Word, fellowship, and ordinances. Believers are called by God through service to the local body for the development and use of talents and spiritual gifts, and outreach to the world to make disciples and share the Gospel.

We believe in and expectantly await the premillennial rapture of believers and the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost. The lost will be raised to judgment and experience eternal death in Hell. The saved will be raised to eternal life in the new Heaven and new Earth in the manifested presence of God
